Counseling is a confidential and safe professional support to individuals experiencing difficult times. This service can be offered by a variety of mental health professionals – social workers, psychotherapists, psychologists, and psychiatrists – and in as many styles.
In the context of counseling services, a client and their therapist interact with each other to work towards a goal that is important to the client. Through out counseling sessions, clients are able to explore difficult experiences and emotions as well as develop new strategies to manage day to day life.
At Soar Above Counselling, we offer counselling sessions to individuals affected by illness:
- having received a diagnosis themselves;
- caring for someone diagnosed with an illness, or;
- working in the health care system.
These sessions are offered to individuals as video and instant messaging sessions. They are offered by Gabrielle Fecteau, a licensed social worker.
To offer you all of these counselling options, we have partnered up with On Call Health – a Canadian virtual care platform.
Visit our booking page or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to request an initial counselling session. Expect an e-mail invitation with more information about your appointment and steps to set up your On Call account within 48 hours.
